From a great love for photography and graphic techniques, I create works that, in their layeredness, want to take you to a place beyond the everyday. The basis of each work is selected per project from my database of photos, after which I apply and edit other techniques. It involves combinations of photography, graphics and embroidery in variations. The results are naturally growing works of art. My work is modern, lovely, poetic, quiet, melancholic and sometimes exuberant. I always try to balance technique, articulation, essence, and tradition.
