PAOLA DE BRUIJN

Vanuit een grote liefde voor fotografie en grafische technieken maak ik samengestelde werken die je in hun gelaagdheid willen meenemen naar een plek naast het alledaagse. Vanuit een database van eigen foto’s wordt de basis van de werken per project geselecteerd, waarna bewerkingen en/of aanvullingen in andere technieken worden toegepast.

Hierbij worden combinaties van fotografie, grafiek en borduursel in variaties gemaakt. Het gevolg zijn natuurlijk groeiende kunstwerken. Mijn werken zijn modern, lieflijk, poëtisch, stil, melancholiek en soms uitbundig. Altijd is er de zoektocht naar evenwicht tussen techniek en expressie en tussen eigenheid en traditie.
